Importing Tasks and Schedules from External Calendars

How you can Import Schedule and Task information in Propared

Sometimes we begin a planning process in spreadsheets or other calendar programs and it would be useful to get that information into Propared without having to manually add it all.  No fear, you can use our Importing via .CSV file or our one time import from External Calendar features to do just this.

 

Importing schedule information into Propared via Internet Calendar 

  1. Log into app.propared.com
  2. Navigate to the Timeline Screen
  3. Ensure that the Project you wish to import into is showing at the top of the screen.  If not, select the project you wish to import the tasks into.
  4. Click the + Task button
  5. Select the Task Type "Feed"
  6. Paste the URL and click Save.

How to find your Calendar URL in other Applications

As there are many different Calendar applications, and even different ways of accessing your Calendar app, these are just a few.  We recommend doing an internet search on your specific Calendar app if you have any issues.

Google Calendar

  1. Log into Google Calendar
  2. Click on the ⋮  icon to the right of the Calendar you wish to sync or import into Propared
  3. Click on 'Setting and Sharing'
  4. Scroll down to the section 'Integrate Calendar'
  5. Copy the 'Public URL to this Calendar" link.

Outlook or Office 365 Calendar

  1. Log into your Account and navigate to the Calendar
  2. Select the Calendar you want to import into Propared
  3. In the options, select Publishing and adjust the setting (if the .ICS is not currently available)
  4. Copy the '.ICS" link.

iCal, Apple Calendar or iCloud Calendar

  1. Log into your iCloud Account and navigate to the Calendar      
  2. Select the Calendar you want to import into Propared by clicking on the icon to the right of the calendar name.
  3. Select "Public Calendar"
  4. Copy the link.
